MyHome Egypt A custom WordPress plugin that automates quotations and client files for a finishing company
From one request: a client file, a quotation with quantities computed in code, and a portal to follow it.

The problem
Every consultation request took the sales team two hours: open a client file, calculate the quotation by hand, send it.
Overview
I wrote a custom Arabic WordPress plugin of more than 1,900 lines for an Egyptian finishing company. It automates quotations and client files inside the site itself, and it is delivered.
What I built
- A composite REST endpoint that calls internal endpoints and opens the client file
- A quantity calculator written in code: floor, ceiling and wall areas per room, then paint, tiles and gypsum
- When room details are missing, it builds a sensible room schedule from the total area instead of stopping
- A 9-step n8n workflow that uses Gemini only to write the descriptions
- 7 key-protected REST endpoints and a password-protected Arabic client portal
The engineering call
The split is deliberate: the model writes the words, the code computes the numbers. Any figure a client will pay against is never left to the model.
